It is bringing your awareness to the present moment and simply being now and here. Simple.

Meditation is not Complicated. Like any other new skill, it needs time. Leave your expectations and allow yourself to experience it. With time and more practice it will become easier and more comfortable just to sit and be present. There is no right or wrong way to meditate. Just find what works best for you. The first step is to start and try!!!

"The goal of meditation isn't to control your thoughts it's to stop letting them control you."

Where to Start?

Meditation allows the mind to relax. When the mind is relaxed, the body comes with it. It's quite easy, but there are so many different forms and types of meditation which can be confusing. If you want to start meditating, try choosing a form of meditation based on what you want to get out of it. If it’s difficult for you in beginning to stay still in one place you can choose different forms of Meditation like walking, running, swimming, hiking, dancing and etc. It is highly recommended at least in the beginning to have a teacher or follow guided meditations. Of course, you can start on your own but support will always be more useful.

Meditation is a process, focuses on the moment, not the results. The key to Meditation is to be fully present and accept whatever comes into your mind and body without judgment. And keep trying again and again. Meditation is a skill that takes time to master.
